Women's Brunch
& Meeting
(held monthly)

Once a month the women of MA get together for a meeting and fellowship. (Usually on a Sunday around 1pm.) The next brunch will be SUNDAY FEBRUARY 7 AT 2PM. The brunches are held at a fellow woman's house who volunteered to host at the previous month's brunch. Everyone brings something to eat (or drink) to share, pot-luck style. We eat and talk for about an hour then we have a topic meeting with round robin shares for about an hour. It lasts about 2-3 hours. It's always great fun and great fellowship. For up-to-date information on the exact location of our next brunch, and all future brunches, please join our women's brunch e-mail list. Send your e-mail address to womensbrunch@ma-newyork.org to be added to our list.

What Happens at
an MA Meeting?

All meetings are autonomous and formats vary from meeting to meeting. Sometimes there is a speaker. Sometimes we study the Steps or other literature. Many meetings have a topic for discussion.

We have no dues or fees and are proudly self-supporting through our own contributions. It is customary to pass the basket and uphold the seventh tradition. Newcomers need not feel obligated to contribute; others are privileged to do so.

If you have any questions that go unanswered, please introduce yourself to someone after the meeting and exchange phone numbers. We are all here to help.

Please remember that anonymity is the foundation of this program and that whatever is said at a meeting is not to leave that meeting.

District 8
Service Committee
Meeting

The Board of District 8 meets every third Wednesday of each month, 8:00 pm, at the LGBT Center at 208 West 13th Street, NYC. The District is where all the business of the district is discussed, all subcommittee reports are given, and all group problems are addressed. The meeting is open to all MA members. Check the sign in the Lobby for the Room number.
